Happy Thanksgiving!

I LOVE thanksgiving day. I love the Macy's Day Parade. I'm so excited it is now thanksgiving day =)
I still don't have internet :( We have been so busy lately and I've wanted to blog so badly but haven't been able to. We should be getting hooked back up this next week and I'll be good to go.

I didn't fall off!

I'm still here, just have a pitiful internet connection. I think we'll have to check into actually getting interent as we've been wifi'ing for the past year! I'm dying without my net fix!
Plus lil love is sick. I took her to the dr today and she's on an antibiotic. I have so much to blog about, so hopefully tomorrow I can more!

I NEED opinions.

Jeremy and I have been talking about what we want to buy Macy Grace for Christmas. I know she's only 12 months and she won't remember it, but I want to get her some fun things to play with. I have a couple of things I already know that I want to buy which includes the anywhere chair from pottery barn and a piano.

I know she LOVES to rock on a a little rocking horse at church in the nursery. So, I can't decide. What should I get?

Okay, now naturally, I would want the butterfly. It's just TOO cute! But it's plush. Which means it dirty and I can't bleach it. And I have a dog. So, sometimes his hair gets on things plushy. However, I could use a lint roller and a vaccuum. Plus it's more expensive. I'm not sure that she could get on and off of it because I haven't seen it in person. Have you?
I've seen the pony in person and she loves it. And she loves puppies. So, those are equal to me in terms of price and size and cleanness.

So, what are your thoughts? You have to think SOMETHING, let me know!

Happy Veterans Day!

I'm truly in awe of the country I live in. I love America. I live in the best country on earth and I couldn't be more proud to be an American. But it couldn't and wouldn't be possible without the men and women who proudly serve in our military. I just want to say thank you. Thank you for the sacrifice. And may we never take it for granted!

10 seconds

Jeremy comes home from work this afternoon and wildly embraces me and says, I heard on the radio that we are supposed to kiss for 10 seconds in the morning and 10 seconds in the evening, so, here goes. And he grabs me fiercly and proceeds to kiss me while counting one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand, etc, until ten one thousand. When we were done, I said that was the longest 10 seconds of my life, bwhahaha, and walked away.
I'm so mean. But that's how we roll.
I love him though.

I meant to post last night since it was Macy Grace's birthday yesterday but she kept us so busy I went to bed having completely forgotten to post! I was exhausted =) I'll make up for it today and make two posts!

We had a fabulous weekend and the weather was gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend to celebrate and have a party on especially for November! The weather was in the 80's! I loved it. We'll probably have a nasty wicked winter until March and I'll be wanting spring so badly but for now, I'll take the fabulous weather.

Last night after I dressed Macy Grace in her jammies and prepared her bottle, we snuggled up together in her rocking chair just as we do everynight and I fed her. She was so tired she turned over and just snuggled up with me and fell asleep. I started praying. I am so blessed. I thanked Him for the healthy, beautiful little girl I have and praying for her life. I'm one of those girls who always wanted to be a mom. I could never decide on a career. (Although I did eventually choose teaching and it was the most fulfilling thing I have ever done besides motherhood!) I just wanted to be a mom. And I am. I'm a mom. A mom to a daughter who is loved more then I ever thought possible. A mom to a spoiled (yet loved!) lil love bug that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. I thanked God for her last night, with tears running down my cheeks, I thanked Him for this priceless gift. A gift that I call Macy Grace.

a beautiful fall day

I took Macy out at the same time on two seperate days and was able to catch a few shots that I could work with! I cannot take her out by myself to do sessions with her anymore, she's just too busy! She's everywhere crawling, doesn't sit still, won't look at me at all. She's a troubled case I tell ya!

She loves my purse, and digs into it and pulls out all my money. Who does this?? My daughter.
Who reaches for my wallet and hugs it and does not let go?? My daughter.
Who LOVES to hold my debit card and cries when I take it away and no other card will satisfy this crying soul?? My daughter.

My lil love bug. Gosh, what do I have coming? I cannot be prepared enough.

Lil love is turning 1 on Sunday!! It's very sad :( My baby is growing up! We have purchased her a climbing tree house slide but it won't be here in time for the big birthday party on Saturday. I'm excited about her party but still have quite a bit of things to finish planning for it. She's my big girl and it is amazing how much she's changed over the last few months.

We've been working around the house alot today. I did some great organizing and purging. Oh how I love to purge! I'm not a clutter person and it feels fabulous to declutter and purge!!

It makes me feel like a mom. Not the poop. Spit up. Bottles. Messes. Laundry. Toys. Sippies. Nope. The babydoll. Just like this.


The moment I saw this I felt like a mom. Not that I haven't felt like a mom until this point, but today, when I saw this babydoll, I felt like a mom. Sometimes I'm reminded by the tiniest things. And I love it.

On Thursday, I took Macy Grace to a few offices to see her favorite people and I got a couple of pics. I didn't take my camera into all the places we went but ran out to the car and grabbed it for our visit with Aunti Tif. We also went to Grammy's, Aunt Rana's, and my friend Katy's. She was an hit!!
